The first annual Anthony Salem Remembrance 5K Run, Walk, and Ruck March was a huge success. This event honored the memory of Iraq Combat Veteran Anthony Salem, who lost his battle with addiction and the hidden wounds of war on September 24, 2023.
We sold out and had 100 people running, rucking, and walking on a perfect morning on a beautiful course, only a few minor scrapes.
We came together to support each other and raised $15,000 to support veterans and individuals in recovery through Running2bwell. Funds will be used to provide running shoes, fitness clothing, and race entries, empowering them on their journey to healing and well-being.
