Weekly group runs:

  • All paces are welcome (running or walking) and we strive to partner up so no one is alone.

  • The goal is positive social interaction, we discourage headphones.

  • Outside is preferred for fresh air and sunshine.

  • We generally chat and warm up for 15 minutes, exercise for 30-40 minutes, then stretch and chat for another 15 mins.

  • If you come to three consecutive meetings we will help you buy a pair of new high quality running shoes. Not just as a reward but because appropriate footwear is critical to avoiding injury. We ask all to contribute what they can. Plus it's super fun getting new shoes. :-)

  • We have negotiated discounts with most rec centers and can also help those in need by paying for memberships/day passes
